JOB DESCRIPTION

APPLY
Wordsmiths are a central part of Business Development at Palantir. We collaborate with teams across the company to surface and capture new business opportunities. On any given day, we re writing a formal proposal to win a new contract, drafting market research to help inform procurement processes, or creating a presentation deck describing our impact with a customer. Wordsmiths handle language the way our developers handle code, meaning we re the best at what we do and perform with agility under pressure. We work alongside our engineers to translate highly technical and complex concepts into clear, concise, and powerful written products. Time is usually of the essence, so we re always ready to craft documents and support projects on short notice. We are prose experts, but our work extends beyond writing itself to researching potential international government customers and understanding how they think about their problems. We work across different countries and verticals in areas such as law enforcement, intelligence, health, cyber security, finance, and regulatory oversight. Because we tackle a wide range of issues, Wordsmiths are highly adaptive and quickly overcome steep learning curves. Our backgrounds are diverse, but we all have a passion for the written word, a drive for perfection, and a commitment to excellent execution. This position is available in London, UK, Washington, DC and New York, NY. Wordsmiths are a central part of Business Development at Palantir.
