Job Description
Responsible for meeting and exceeding the corporate sales objectives for the Ophthalmics Business Unit(BU)within an assigned geography
Effectively coach and lead the strategic brand execution of Ophthalmics products as the portfolio grows.
Drive performance of Brand Portfolio
Ensures the basic selling and business acumen fundamentals are delivered against brand objectives.
Effectively assesses the development needs of the Zone both at the Regional Director and Sales Representative levels and provide appropriate, individualized development opportunities
Responsible for effective leadership in the Ophthalmics BU that espouses BRAVE values and the vision of the Ophthalmics BU, We are Visionary Code Breakers.

Effectively drive performance of the Zone while adhering to Compliance and Regulatory standards
Deploy the sales force in accordance with the sales plan within the Ophthalmics BU to maximize productivity consistent with corporate objectives of promoted products.
Manage resources based on potential and opportunity for growth

Responsible for meeting and exceeding the corporate sales objectives. This includes, but is not limited to successful development of personnel, along with selecting the best talent for open positions. Create an atmosphere of bottom up decision making, allowing for advantages business guess in local marketplaces.
Effectively assesses the development needs of the Zone and initiates activity that will further develop the staff. Lead front line managers who lead sales specialists.

Minimum of a Bachelor s degree from four-year college or university
Minimum 5 years sales management experience
Minimum 3 years experience as pharmaceutical representative with proven track record in all respects of selling, i.e. technical knowledge, selling techniques, understanding of medical field, etc
Minimum 2 years corporate office experience preferred
Eye care/Ophthalmology experience strongly preferred
