Job Description
Overview:
The primary objective of this position is to serve as the recruitment leader for the assigned business segments. Provides strategy for the business segment is directly involved in the selection process for key operational positions that support the business segment growth. Utilizes effective tools (including social media) for recruiting based on current needs and future bench strength. Responsibilities include succession planning, managing to defined recruitment metrics and constantly networking within the community to build our recruitment brand. Responsibilities:
Recruitment
- Responsible for developing and managing the recruitment process for the assigned business segment.
- Source candidates, screen application materials, conduct phone screens, recommend candidates for interviews, and facilitate interviews.
- Attends local job fairs to ensure continuous applicant flow.
- Creates and manages a network of recruitment resources.
- Identifies and coordinates most effective recruitment advertisement through career website and social media.
- Understands and explains the company mission, culture, policies and procedures.
- Travels to assigned business segments as needed to support recruitment activities.
- Develop effective recruitment strategies to attract diverse top candidates.
- Conduct telephone screening of candidates for all positions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations to include EEO guidelines.
- Manage the Applicant Tracking System for assigned business segment to include supporting the Zone HR contacts with any questions and/or training.
- Partner with hiring managers to discuss progress of open requisitions and candidate pool.
- Work with staffing agencies when necessary.
- Facilitate the offer process to include reference checks, offer letters, negotiations, etc.
- Update and maintain the open positions report through the Applicant Tracking System.
- Review and research the use of career fairs and job expos and utilizes as deemed appropriate.
Employment
- Conduct reference, background, drug and any other applicable pre employment checks.
- Manage the drug screening, background and I-9 process for assigned business segment.
- Work with training to new hire orientation is scheduled and conducted for all new hires.
- Work with IT, HR and other corporate resources to ensure required resources are available for the new hire before their start date.
- Enter new hire information accurately into the HRIS system.
Job Descriptions
- Partner with operations and Human Resources to create all new job descriptions.
- Work with the Zone HR Manager to create salary ranges for all new job descriptions and verify that current salary ranges have fair market value on a periodic basis.Qualifications:
- Three years previous experience in a staffing/recruiting role.
- EMT experience and/or bachelors in business or human resources preferred.
- Experience in healthcare related industry preferred.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work throughout the organization positively and constructively.
- Must be able to relate to all levels of employees, must be truly empathetic and viewed as 'approachable' by management and operations alike.
- Well developed, current knowledge and understanding of employment and human resource practices and processes.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience with an Applicant Tracking System preferred.
- Travel within the business segment as needed and up to 30% of the time.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
