Dewberry is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant in our Richmond, VA office. The Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative functions in support of a fast-paced, multi-disciplined group. The Administrative Assistant must be flexible, technologically savvy and client focused.","*Provide general administrative support to professional and technical staff.
*Prepare invoices, track billing process, and monitor accounts payable and receivable.
*Set up jobs within Dewberry's financial management system.
*Work in tandem with marketing managers to develop and produce proposals.
*Assist with development of marketing materials.
*Research tasks and support.
*Create, edit and maintain spreadsheets.
*Assist with the maintenance of filing and archiving (electronic and hard copy).
*Handle multiple, concurrent projects.
*Other duties as assigned.
*Bachelor's degree required.
*Experience working with Engineering or Architectural firm preferred.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Exceptional attention to detail.
*Ability to effectively communicate and work in a team environment.
*Ability to interact with staff at all levels.
*Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
*Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous deadlines.
*Expert level knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook required.
*Ability to work independently while following instructions to perform the functions of the job.
*Ability to learn and rapidly become proficient in Deltek Vision, InDesign, and other Dewberry-specific software programs.
