JOB DUTIES:

Reporting to the Build Director the Application Manager (AM) functions as the primary expert for the Pharmacy applications and oversees the work activities of the build and support team. Working in conjunction with the Director, the AM defines standards/objectives and manages the configuration, build, installation and support of pharmacy applications. These include Willow inpatient, Willow Ambulatory, and Willow Inventory. This individual is responsible for planning, structuring, and monitoring system as well as testing and change control procedures. The AM takes direction from, and collaborates with, the Director on work priorities and manages the resolution of escalated issues. The AM partners with subject matter experts and other EHR AMs to ensure build consistency and a successful end-to-end patient centric workflow. The AM identifies and plans appropriate training for team members and leads the team in attaining a high level of application knowledge.



JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of Pharmacy workflows for both inpatient and outpatient

PharmD or pharmacy technician license or equivalent pharmacy operations experience

Prior experience with IT systems and systems development projects

Project management skills including the ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, and manage project plan

Demonstrated skill in system workflow and business process flow analysis and design

Strong customer service orientation

Strong communication and follow-up skills required
