JOB DESCRIPTIONAssistant Director, Marketing Portfolio: Coordinate and assist in the managing of a portfolio of open enrollment and custom executive education programs including: planning and coordinating the administrative and operational activities of executive education programs, both on and off campus, logistics, following up with corporate customers, tracking budgets with an eye on profit and loss potential. Manage day-to-day communication with clients with a strong orientation to client and faculty service to deliver the highest quality experience. Fill in for the Associate Director as needed.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Assist the Associate Director in portfolio management. Serve as primary client service contact person. Fill-in for Associate Director as needed.
-Act as the primary point of contact for executives and faculty before, during, and after Executive Education programs.
-Initiate communications with program participants about program logistics, both electronically and in person.
-Assist in managing an assigned portion of the Executive Education's program portfolio.
-Plan and oversee the scheduling of program facilities, equipment and services.
-Prepare administrative and operational plans for Executive Education programs.
-Evaluate and initiate improvements in program services.
-Support outbound sales activities and work directly with the Associate Director on implementing marketing and sales plans for open enrollment programs.
-Implement evaluations of programs and provide information for curriculum revisions.
-Initiate contact with targeted companies and executives, articulate the capabilities of Chicago Booth Executive Education and solicit referrals from past participants.
-Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets; authorize payment for materials, facilities, staff and instructional faculty.
-Engage in some activities that promote Chicago Booth.
-Assist in the preparation and editing of program marketing materials.
-Supervise the use of intellectual property and material preparation for seminars in the assigned portfolio.
-Aiding in the portfolio reaching the financial and non-financial goals established.
-Work evenings as needed and be open to minimal travel deemed essential by the Associate Director.
-First line of support for the Associate Director.
