At Church & Dwight, we value talented professionals with a strong desire to make a positive impact in our company. Our Research & Development team is looking for an ambitious and reliable Associate Chemist whose action-oriented mindset will foster continued growth throughout our leading brands.

In this highly visible role located at our Global R&D Center in Princeton, NJ you will assist in identifying technologies in the area of personal care or dietary supplements for various research groups, e.g. formulation and process teams

What you ll do:

* Assists R&D with literature and patent search/scouting of new technology or ingredient development, trend and innovation, as well as processing and equipment advances.

* Establishes and maintains knowledge management systems and database of technologies.

* Helps develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring regular communication and follow up.

* Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of technology service providers.

* Assists in the development and implementation of tools for internal and external communications for the technology group.

* Promotes use and awareness of technology group as a key resource in the organization. Ensure collaborative environment with our partners in legal, marketing, purchasing and manufacturing by proposing, creating and maintaining tools such as newsletters, surveys, presentations, informative reports and liaising through regular meetings and communications.

What you ll need:

* Bachelor s Degree in any of the sciences (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biology or Food Science

* 1 3 years practical experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

What you\'ll do:

* Create, maintain, monitor and analyze master data in ERP and/or other integrated solutions in compliance with established service levels.
* Implements MDM practices, policies and standards adopted by the company.
* Ensure and enhance data quality and train users to ensure continuity of results.
* Provide creative yet logical approaches to solving data problems utilizing established global and regulatory rules.
* Identifies areas of specific master data weakness and suggests methods of improvement to Manager of EDM.
* Maintains policies and procedures to ensure uniform, accurate, and consistent data are present in support of SOX audit requirements.
* Provide testing support for upgrades and releases, including integration testing from various sources to target systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

What you\'ll need:



Education and Experience:
* Bachelor s Degree in Business preferred or equivalent experience
* 1 3 years experience with master data management in an ERP system is preferred
* Basic understanding of CPG manufacturing process is a plus
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

* Good understanding of fundamental business processes and the effect of data downstream.
* Strong attention to detail with optimal organizational skills; focus on teamwork and follow-up.
* Logical, process-based approach to problem solving with an ability to learn and apply new information.
* Priority setting, organization, and project management skills.
* Ability to clearly communicate with a positive, professional attitude both in writing and orally.
* Capacity to work autonomously on multiple initiatives in a lean, fast paced, and action-oriented environment.
* Demonstrated ability in building relationships with stakeholders and influencing key decision makers within business functions supported as it pertains to managing master data within the company
