We attract top minds, and we nurture and build top talent. /p p b Main Duties and Responsibilities /b /p p The main duties for this position are to independently conduct experiments that include production and characterization of antibodies containing novel chemical functionality. You will be an organized an effective bench scientist capable of designing and conducting experiments, interpreting data, and communicating results. You are expected to maintain accurate and timely laboratory notebooks and present updates to project teams. The position requires the ability to embrace new technologies quickly and work confidently in cutting-edge areas of research to enable new discoveries. /p p b Essential requirements /b /p ul li A strong background in molecular and cell biology. /li li Hands-on experience with antibody expression and purification. /li li Ability to perform biophysical characterization of antibodies to determine binding constants, isoelectric points, thermal stability, etc. /li li Hands on experience with some or all of the following techniques; size-exclusion chromatography; reverse phase chromatography; hydrophobic interaction chromatography; spectroscopy; mass spectrometry, ELISA, FACS, BIAcore. /li li Experience with molecular biology techniques such as cloning, site-direct mutagenesis, DNA isolation and purification, RT-PCR and qPCR /li li Proven ability to work efficiently and productively in a highly dynamic team environment. /li li Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously. /li li Strong motivation, attention to detail, ability to think independently, and strong problem-solving skills. /li li Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. /li /ul
