GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Benefits Specialist is responsible for administering the benefit plans for US employees and providing HRIS maintenance and support.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

*

Assist employees with benefit enrollment and questions relating to benefits eligibility and claims.
*

Input employee benefit data into HRIS.
*

Maintain employee eligibility data with vendors. Processes may include monitoring of file feeds, data entry into external vendor systems, or manual submission of paperwork.
*

Verify accuracy of vendor invoices, prepare payment requests and submit invoices or wires for payment
*

Ensure accuracy of benefits data by creating reports and auditing the information, researching and correcting discrepancies as necessary.
*

Prepare monthly invoices for all vendors and send to Accounts Payable for payment.
*

Reconcile monthly invoices against internal headcount reports.
*

Coordinate the annual Open Enrollment process
*

Manage benefit projects with emphasis on communication and coordination
*

Analyze programs for trends and recommendations
*

Maintain employee benefit files for all US employees
*

Develop, update, and modify HRIS tables, codes, and maintain security access.
*

Create and maintain file feeds to vendors to assure updated eligibility and enrollment.
*

Assist with plan audits and other compliance matters

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
*

Bachelor's degree
*

2-4 years benefits experience
*

ADP Enterprise experience preferred
*

Attention to detail; high level of accuracy
*

Personal computer and software skills including Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
*

Team player with the ability to develop strong relationships with the HR team and employees across all locations
*

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
