JOB DESCRIPTION

Experienced carpenters and skilled laborers needed for a long term marine construction project. Must have marine construction experience. Looking for a motivated and dependable person to take on supervisory and leading responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:
Qualified candidate must be 18 years of age
Eligible to work in the United States
A valid driver's license and retain a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration.
Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and understand plans and direction give in the English language. Ability to write in English
Possess a personal vehicle for use during the day for transportation to and from and on or around a job site
Possess the ability to stand on your feet for approximately 3 hours minimum a day up to 8 hours a day
Possess the ability to traverse a construction job site consisting of uneven ground varying in height and consistency of material Variation of elevation 12'' of less (mud, gravel, rutted ground, etc.)
Possess the ability to climb a ladder varying from 6 feet to 20 foot extension
Be Physically able to don and wear and operate personal fall arresting apparatus
Be able to wear UESI standard PPE, i.e. hard hats, safety vest, work boots, safety glasses/goggles
Be able to lift and/or carry a weight of 30-50lbs. (concrete inspection specimens and required equipment)
Maintain a safe working attitude by following all project, safety and operational procedures, rules and regulations
Report any unsafe condition or behavior immediately to your supervisor
Immediately report all illnesses and/or incidents to your supervisor
Report to work "Fit for Duty" and free of Drugs and Alcohol
Report any prescription drugs your are currently taking to your immediate supervisor
Report any suspected use of drugs or alcohol impairment to your immediate supervisor
Comply with UESI's "Zero Tolerance" towards the use of drugs and alcohol.
