Summary: Provision of personal care and designated health-related services in compliance with agency's policies and procedures, applicable health care standards, and governmental laws and regulations. The Hospice Aide performs duties in accordance of and under the direction/supervision as defined by the Agency's organizational chart.Requirements:
Licenses/Certifications:* Meets the training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws. Home Health Aide training verification or CNA certification in the state of practice preferred.* Possesses and maintains CPR certification.* Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order.* Active/current agency health requirements.* Must complete required department competencies to validate and maintain competency.Education/Experience:Education: Home Health Aide training verification or CNA certification in the state of practice preferred with HighSchool Diploma or equivalent depending upon state regulations.Experience: Prefer a minimum of three (3) months work experience as a Nursing Aide, preferably in hospice, homecare, skilled nursing facility or hospital setting.
