The Wound Care Clinic at Ogden Regional Medical Center is looking for a Clinical Supervisor to join their friendly, fast paced, patient-focused staff. Under the general supervision of the unit's Director or designee the Clinical Supervisor assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions in the unit on his/her designated shifts. In collaboration with other members of the management team, this individual is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in unit. The Clinical Supervisor:

* Licensure as a registered nurse and/or licensed practical nurse in Utah.

* Maintaining competencies, continuing education, and certifications as appropriate to the position and required to maintain licensure and certifications.

* Performing nursing assessments, developing, implementing and evaluating nursing plans of care and instructing patient and caregivers in appropriate discharge instructions while following direction of nurse manager and medical director.

* Keeping complete and accurate patient records as they pertain to assessment, treatments, and documentation of care.

* Create a positive environment for patients.

* Performing nursing assessments, developing, implementing and evaluating nursing plans of care and instructing patient and caregivers in appropriate discharge instructions while following direction of nurse manager and medical director.

* Experience in a wound care center or setting preferred.

* Demonstrates competencies in ordered treatments including but not limited to vital signs, wound assessments, wound photography, wound dressings, vascular assessments, patient and family education on common wound care topics including but not limited to, diabetic foot care, wound care dressings, off-loading, compression therapy.

* Licensure in utah as a Registered Nurse or LPN

* Healthcare Provider BLS

* ACLS preferred

* graduate of an accredited nursing education program; BSN preferred

* Minimum of 3 years of clinical practice (RN or LPN) in Wound Care setting preferred

* Leadership/supervisory experience in a clinical setting required
