We are seeking a Commercial Real Estate Financial/Market Analyst join our growing Atlanta Agency Leasing team. An ideal candidate will be able to handle a fast-paced and dynamic work environment while bringing a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the intellectual curiosity needed to assist our brokers and clients. The right candidate will serve as an analyst supporting 11 Office Agency brokers for two years and then, contingent on performance, transition to a broker with a commission based compensation model. A background in finance is ideal with strong financial modeling, research and comparative analysis skills desired along with a forthright, assertive and energetic approach with a strong ability to sell.


* Support strategic planning activities by providing financial analysis, reporting, strategy development, tactical implementation and special projects assigned in order to support the decision making by clients and brokerage team.

* Deal management and reporting utilizing internal financial systems commission calculations, deal life-cycle maintenance and appropriate documentation, invoicing clients and tracking payments, run WIP reports.

* Produce financial models and other analyses for transactions of varying complexity to support the negotiation of lease and ownership teams with third parties.

* Perform qualitative and quantitative financial analyses including development of pro forma financials on a pre-tax, after-tax, net present value cash flow and book bases.

* Review and analyze client s quantitative portfolio data, legal documents and other materials as part of project due diligence process.

* Participate in Brokerage Team Meetings and weekly sales meetings to update colleagues on leasing activity, market information, new business generating efforts, prospects and market knowledge and trends.

* Create sophisticated Excel-based analytical tools including macro-enabled financial models.

* Provide clients with industry and market specific information as it relates to their business and maintain contact information on prospects.

* Work with team to develop long-term business development plans for potential clients.

* Assist marketing and research to create submarket and client specific reports.

* Work with brokerage team on creating underwriting support tools and packages to assist clients with acquisitions and due diligence efforts.

* Investigate technology tools that can elevate the team s performance.


* Bachelor s Degree in Finance, Real Estate or Accounting with excellent academic credentials

* Current Georgia Real Estate License or ability to get one

* Demonstrated interest in commercial real estate analysis and brokerage/selling2 years of work experience in Finance, Real Estate or Accounting preferred, but not required

* Critical thinking, specifically, the ability to apply broad concepts to specific tasks and business processes

* Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables

* Financial analysis and market research experience

* Strong computer orientation and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word software is required

* Excellent oral communication skills including in group presentations

* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners in an entrepreneurial environment

* Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload

* Intermediate understanding of real estate fundamentals A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment
