p style="margin: 0px;" span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;" The Lohr Lab seeks a POSTDOCTORAL COMPUTATIONAL BIOLOGIST AND DATA SCIENTIST FELLOW, under the Lohr Lab ( to work on the analysis of new datasets generated in the context of our “liquid biopsy” efforts to help advance approaches to precision cancer medicine. We are developing "liquid biopsy" approaches to obtain biological information about cancer, simply from a vial of blood. We focus on circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and circulating cell-free DNA (cfDNA) that can be obtained from the circulation of cancer patients. Using next-generation sequencing and other high-throughput methods we can follow how cancer changes in real-time. These span whole genome, whole exome sequencing, targeted sequencing and RNA sequencing from single cells or from bulk. These technologies help us to gain insight into cancer, even when a tissue biopsy is not possible. /span /p p style="margin: 0px;" /p p style="margin: 0px;" Located in Boston and the surrounding communities, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute brings together world renowned clinicians, innovative researchers and dedicated professionals, allies in the common mission of conquering cancer, HIV/AIDS and related diseases. Combining extremely talented people with the best technologies in a genuinely positive environment, we provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients of all ages; we conduct research that advances treatment; we educate tomorrow's physician/researchers; we reach out to underserved members of our community; and we work with amazing partners, including other Harvard Medical School-affiliated hospitals. /p img src="" img src=""
