JOB SUMMARY: Securitas, the global leader in protective services, is looking for just the right person to function as a Contracts Compliance Auditor. This role requires learning our business, and then the ability to understand the intricacies of our large service contracts for the purpose of determining whether essential contract terms are actually put into practice. In order to do this, the incumbent will need to apply their accounting skills and ability/learn how to read and understand contracts, will verify client invoices and consult with branch offices and job sites, and will ultimately prepare an analysis and report as to findings and remedial measures as appropriate.

* Establish Securitas USA large contract audit function template.

* Review and analyze large Securitas USA contracts.

* Collect, compile, organize information relating to contractual arrangements between Securitas USA and its clients.

* Analyze and assess compliance of contractual arrangements compared to the requirements under the contract.

* Prepare reports for management describing contractual compliance and non-compliance.

* Make recommendations regarding appropriate remedial measures.

* Travel within the USA required approximately two times per month.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

Education/Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree required in finance, accounting, business or related (may substitute experience for degree, along with High School Diploma/GED)

* Two or more years' progressively responsible finance, accounting, business, audit or related experience

* Experience in the security services industry is preferred, although not required

Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):

* Ability to work independently.

* Ability to compile relevant data on large scale security services contracts.

* Ability to assess voluminous, complex data relating to large scale security services contracts.

* Ability to prepare clear, concise, thorough, thoughtful reports on audit findings.

* Ability to perform basic legal research.

* Advanced skill in/experience with current technology in general and relevant software programs.

* Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), advanced Excel skills.

* Ability to interface cooperatively with all levels of management, from junior to senior levels.

Working Conditions and Physical/Mental Demands

* Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey.

* Travel within the USA required approximately two times per month.

* Regular talking and hearing.

* Working at a computer terminal 90% of the day.

* Ability to sit for long periods of time while working on a personal computer

* Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

* Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
