Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Provide individual guest spa treatments. Flexible, professional in appearance and demeanor, attentive to guest needs. Good communication skills and a friendly congenial personality.
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all company policy/standards as well as state standards/licensure governing Cosmetology. Proficient in all components of Cosmetology, manicures, pedicures, hand and foot treatments, hair care, make-up and skin care treatments including waxing.
Provide appropriate and consistent levels of guest service and hospitality in a professional and ethical manner with regard at all times to comfort of the guest.
Clearly communicate procedure and product usage to guests.
Maintain supply and treatment areas. Treatment areas are always left in a clean presentable fashion. Complete assigned side work.
Shares knowledge and information regarding all Spa and resort programs and services
Promote and execute retail sales.
Work cooperatively and professionally with all departments.
Maintain personal appearance and grooming standards consistent with resort standards.
Resolve guest complaints in a manner which promotes positive guest relations.
Ability to work in a high volume environment while maintaining composure and focus on guest service.
Adheres to time limits when administering spa treatment.
Local and/or State Certification or License is required. Professional experience of two years is required and previous full-service salon/spa preferred.
Must have the ability to communicate in English and positively with guests and co-workers. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and guests.
