The candidate will be working as part of the Customer Focused Test group in the Fixed Networks Business Line organization. The candidate will assist with the design and development of automated testing solutions to support the Cable product line. It is expected that the candidate has solid background in Python programming and a basic understanding of network fundamentals.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Design and write automated test programs
Design and maintain test configurations
Qualifications Essential Skills:
Intermediate level of proficiency in Python.
Basic understanding of L2/L3 network fundamentals and troubleshooting.
Scripting experience, as will be applied toward the creation of automated tests.
OSPF, BGP, ISIS
Must be actively pursuing a bachelors or graduate degree in Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering from an accredited educational institution.
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA
Able to work from the Raleigh, NC office
The ideal candidate is a student in SW Engineering, with practical experience in developing Python and Tcl scripts and programs.
