Responsible for sales and profit for the Aldi Account. The purpose of this position is to produce profitable sales volume growth for the market area and major national accounts across all brands. Develop trade calendar strategy for market area.
* Align growth strategies of the market with account-specific opportunities
* Periodic contact with accounts business leadership
* Achieve preferred supplier status
* Management of assortment plans for National Accounts
* Plan, forecast, and communicate pricing and promotional strategies for National Account
* Communicate weekly execution priorities throughout the region for key customers
* Main point of contact for the National Account teams
EDUCATION AND WORK HISTORY:
A Bachelor s degree, MBA preferred
A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted
7-10 years of experience in Account Management and in a CPG company
Excellent organizational and communication (written and oral) skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong computer application, business communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills with the demonstrated ability to consistently manage projects from conception through implementation
Ability to communicate and work with managers at all levels
Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple projects under tight timelines
Maintenance of the confidentiality of any personal or company information encountered
Must be able to manage/balance frequent travel related work schedule
