We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Director to join our team in either Newport Beach or Pleasanton, CA. This individual s primary responsibility is overseeing the development and performance of all sales activities in the market. He/She will staff and direct a sales team and provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.





Principal Duties and Responsibilities:





* Manages and develops multiple account managers in a territory

* Formulates sales plan for accounts and inputs to strategies for Region

* Ensures forecasts are met* Insures that all account managers meet or exceed all activity standards

* Develops recommendations on growth, opportunities for growth and key target accounts

* Assists in training account managers

* Recruit account managers

* Work collaborative with our key vendor partners

Required Skills



* Communication skills

* Presentation skills

* Mentoring/coaching skills

* Customer focused



Required Experience:



* Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in technology sales management

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in outside technology sales in addition to management experience

* Experience with compute, storage and network technologies in complex organizations

* Experience working with EMC and/or Cisco

* Proven leadership and ability to drive sales team
