eMarketing Coordinator, Medical
Hands-on responsibility for coordination, trafficking and implementation of the medical marketing's electronic marketing initiatives, including the development of public Web site content, HTML-based email campaigns, online banner ads/promotions, electronic catalog, and interactive media.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Aggregates marketing team messaging and materials to create promotions and campaigns using the Web and electronic media to support and achieve desired sales objectives by key specialties, Responsible for adhering to deadlines, quality checking content (links, typos, images, etc) and trafficking materials for creative production.
Effectively coordinates multiple projects/initiatives and own the scheduling/calendaring function to ensure workflow and production timelines are met, coordinates electronic marketing projects/materials in tandem with timing of traditional direct marketing and print promotions.
Administers the setup of email marketing initiatives, including creating campaigns in Seibel, extracting target lists by specialty, staging the creative in the email tool, and tracking results. Tracks and reviews campaign effectiveness and contributes with guidance for future improvements that drive improved results over time.
Aggregates the activities of multiple content producers, writers, and designers for consistent voice and graphical representation of electronic materials. Be responsible for organizing content before submitting for creative development and/or production and getting final approvals before deployment. On occasions, may need to author promotional text, verbiage and/or copy blocks to fill gaps in written materials. At times, may liaise with vendors, partners, or manufacturers to obtain accurate images, descriptions or product/offer details used in promotional marketing.
Collects and assembles customer statistics by specialty site using Core Metrics and Microstrategy BIS regarding impact of electronic marketing and purchase activity. Updates findings into timely and accurate reporting results that provide actionable steps to adjusting outputs and improving sales performance. Uses analytics to counsel team to expand/enhance Web presence, user traffic, user experience, and brand equity to drive customer value ultimately improving electronic ordering.
Supports and tracks Henry Schein's fulfillment of vendor commitments for electronic promotional activity, including ad banners, email marketing, etc. Coordinator must be highly organized by activity and provide feedback/reports when requested or as expected by routine reporting.
Contributes as needed to medical marketing team needs in cross-functional, inter-departmental team meetings. At times, records inquiries, represents department views/opinions and reports to marketing team on analytics, best practices, changes in process, etc.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

* Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
1-3 years experience in fast-paced marketing environment, with exposure to sales and business management, coordination of multiple production jobs across media mix (print, electronic, event), understanding of email and Web production required, prior agency experience a plus.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of marketing communications, public relations, or overall communications, knowledge of Internet and electronic vehicles (email, banner ads, search engine, social media), basic ability to review, interpret and extract insight for trending and actionable recommendations, Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising or equivalent
Requires strong written communications skills, proficiency in proofing/editing and overall ability to multi-task.
Needs to be presentable, professional and represent Henry Schein Medical while interacting with other departments and/or partner companies and to do so successfully must have strong interpersonal and teamworking skills.
