We are looking for an experienced and energetic Construction Estimator to join our growing team with the New York School Construction Authority.

The Change Order Estimator plays an extremely vital role for the SCA. The ideal candidate will work under limited supervision utilizing multiple software platforms to provide assistance to internal and external program stakeholders by review a high volume of construction documents performing quantity take-offs and cost estimating in a prompt and professional manner. Experience with reading construction documents performing quantity take-offs and cost estimating
Experience with conducting site visits to document and create detailed repair estimates
Knowledge of construction including mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems
Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office software
Flexibility and an ability to perform in a hectic and fast paced environment Ability to demonstrate a high degree of responsibility through previous employment or work efforts


Bachelors Degree desired
