JOB DESCRIPTIONPOSITION SUMMARY
The Field Monitor is responsible for ensuring transportation providers who contract with LogistiCare meet and exceed the compliance requirements contained in our contract. This includes monitoring drivers and attendants participation in and compliance with Passenger Assistance, Sensitivity & Safety, Defensive Driving, and any other requirements of the LogistiCare Safe Driver Program. He/she will perform random and/or assigned field investigations, and files reports on each investigation using appropriate reporting form ensuring each provider's adherence to contract requirements, service quality at the particular facility, and the continued appropriateness of LogistiCare's assigned level of service for trips to the facility. The Field Monitor also performs vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle compliance with all ADA and other Federal, State and Local regulatory standards.
Maintains train-the-trainer certification for both Passenger Assistance, Sensitivity & Safety and Defensive Driving
Randomly attends scheduled training sessions being conducted by third party trainers to ensure trainers are maintaining the CTAA/NSC instructional standard. If it is determined that a trainer is not meeting the desired goals of the CTAA/NSC training programs, the Safety Director will be notified and will take appropriate action. Provides oversight of driver and attendants participation in and compliance with LogistiCare's prescribed training curriculum as outlined in the Safe Driver Program
Performing vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle compliance with all ADA and other Federal, State and Local
Performs scheduled and random visits (local travel) to healthcare facilities and contracted transportation providers to
verify level of service and provider adherence to contract standards
Schedules field work in cooperation with the Director of Operations and Regional Manager to include planning and
documenting, work schedule and providing follow up reports to management on a regular basis
Investigates quality of transportation provider's on-time performance, driver's adherence to service requirements and
alteration(s) to rider's level of service and/or scheduling requirements
Focuses investigations on appropriate assignment of level of service by LogistiCare and/or facility for potential fraud
and abuse based on available billing and trip data
Performs other duties as assigned

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Transportation and/or vehicle maintenance experience is a plus
Prior audit experience and/or knowledge of Medicaid guidelines a plus
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Valid/current driver's license and a clean driving record
Basic knowledge of assigned state along with ability to read and follow maps
Ability to follow complex instructions
Must be flexible to work a variety of work schedules/hours
Must be willing and able to travel locally 75%+ within assigned state
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be self-motivated and possess superior time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to accurately type 35+ corrected words per
