JOB DESCRIPTION

This position will be responsible for providing instrumentation and electrical support work to the Lone Star NGL facilities in Mont Belvieu, Texas. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:


- Maintenance and repair of all plant electrical systems including troubleshooting motor problems, MCC Multi-Lin, VFD experience and high voltage substations

- Perform electrical maintenance and repairs with assistance of others on compressors, engines, auxiliary equipment, pumps, process controls and related equipment

- Communicates with company control centers, business groups, and other operating groups

- Oversee electrical troubleshooting, installation, and/or maintenance activities performed by third parties

- Complete appropriate documentation, work orders and paperwork

- Actively participate in safety program and initiatives


- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of five years of direct experience in plant electrical maintenance

- Detailed knowledge of reading and analyzing ladder diagrams, motor controls and PI&Ds

- Demonstrate knowledge of electronics and electrical theory

- Proficiency with basic computer skills and MS Office products

- Familiarity with MMS - EAM or other for PM and CM work order distribution, completion and tracking

- Ability to lift or carry 50 lbs

- Able to work in inclement weather

- Ability to climb metal structures/ladders/heights

- Job requires overtime, both scheduled and unscheduled, as directed

- Must be able to support on-call and call-out requirements
