Operations Intern

Location: Baltimore, MA

Essential Duties


* Pre-plan, execute and supervise duties associated with all aspects of terminal operations and cargo handling
* Direct activities of union personnel as appropriate (including Longshoremen, Foremen, Marine Clerks and Terminal Office Workers)
* Maintain positive and productive relationships with staff management, labor unions as well as Ports America customers
* Enforce all health and safety requirements for terminal environment

* Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Transportation, Maritime Administration, or Supply Chain Management from an accredited 4 year college/university
* 3.0 GPA or greater preferred
* 2018 (Fall) & 2019 graduates only
* Strong analytical and communication skills
* Excellent judgment and proven leadership ability
* Strong analytical and communication skills
* Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn
* Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Must be able to work in extreme outdoor temperatures, dusty conditions, and occasionally high levels of noise.
