Ensures strong governance programs are implemented throughout the system. Supports the implementation of the right processes, procedures and practices to ensure quality consistency. Scans the external environment and internal operations to identify risks to our brands. Engages in the development and commercialization of new products, ingredients, equipment, packaging, and technology. Builds quality and food safety capability across the system.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Ensures compliance with quality standards (KORE), BU programs, regulatory and governance policies.
Utilizes data to identify and mitigate quality and food safety risks and to validate processes.
Effectively troubleshoots common and special cause quality issues to mitigate risks.
Demonstrates and develops world class quality and food safety capability to help deliver competitive advantage
Required Functional Knowledge:
Experience in application of quality standards (KORE) and quality and food safety principles
Application of compliance and system audit tools across manufacturing and service industries
Use of quality governance processes and metrics to protect the brand quality and food safety on the basis of sound risk assessment.
Use of global system tools such as Quality Measures/Picasso
Use of data analysis and statistical tools to identify risks and trends.
Reviews data from internal and external sources to recommend disposition or corrective action in process or validation.
Use of root cause analysis (RCA) tools and techniques to solve technical issues.
Support formal RCA events at operational level
Provide a process structure to trouble shooting.
Act as technical specialist to Bottler teams as needed.
Supports the implementation of the key elements of KORE and quality and food safety principles, as aligned in the CCSP Business plan in all Operations.
Support the development of an integrated QSE culture.
Leverage synergies across systems to drive effective continuous improvement.
Required Core Skill:
Demonstrates deeper understanding of quality standards (KORE) and regulatory and governance policies with limited application in role.
Understands and can apply the BU requirements and initiatives across QSE.
Full understanding of critical quality and food safety data and experience engaging cross-functional stakeholders to mitigate risk based on data.
Understands key problem solving tools and techniques, with meaningful experience in application.
Demonstrates proficiency to leverage and influence key functional stakeholders to deliver sustainable process improvements
Understands overall Total QSE and Commercialisation strategies and supports execution.
Supports the development of national plans for improvement in performance in quality. Scope includes:Consumer Complaints
Process Control - SPC
Management Systems compliance (Audit Corrective actions)
Product Quality Loss reduction
Partners with Site/State QA and Environmental leads to implement Management System processes/plans in Manufacturing and Fountain
Provides tactical support to State Operations to enable achievement of the total quality and commercialisation goals
Provides timely Analysis and Reporting on key metrics to Management
Supports National QSE KPI reviews and partners with Site QA managers to achieve KPI goals.
Support the implementation of corrective action on Food Safety and regulatory incidents.
Review all QEOSH Audit Caps submitted by operations and confirm that CAPs are appropriately raised and plans are timely.
Identifies potential quality and food safety risks to Management
Partners with stakeholders to implement risk mitigation strategies
Communicates risk mitigation status to Management
Assists in the realisation of national value optimisation plans and initiatives as directed.
Identify training and competency needs within operations or systems due to new process/product introductions. Develop or source appropriate training materials or skills to ensure that all competency gaps are closed out effectively.
Support the development and implementation of appropriate monitoring and control processes for new products/package processes in the South Pacific Region
Partners with the New Products Development, Operational Development and the Commercialisation Teams to provide tactical support for new product introduction in South Pacific Region
Responsible for New Line/Process Validation & Approval (incl. co-packers; water sources) as directed
Partner with Site and State Quality Managers to ensure the implementation of the M&C-Plan at all operational sites
Monitor the effectiveness of M&C-Plan compliance and initiate corrective action where necessary
Support the development and implementation of the appropriate M&C-Plans for new technologies or processes
Assist sites and stakeholders on technical issues/queries as required
Monitor Consumer insight data and ensure all trends are investigated and resolved appropriately
Communicate Quality requirements, standards and expectations

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES REQUIRED:
Minimum Bachelor s degree in Science, Food Technology or related discipline.
Experience in communicating with and influencing key stakeholders and cross system/functional teams. Quality System Auditing training and experience desirable
