If so, then the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago is looking for you! We have an opening for a full-time Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer who will provide comprehensive administrative management support for the Chief Operating Officer, serving as back up for the Pritzker Director's office and Trustee and Board Liaison as needed. To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have demonstrated experience in positions requiring independence, discretion and a high level of responsibility regarding executive matters and project management. - Be highly organized, able to anticipate needs, and use professional judgment to handle complex situations. - Demonstrate poise and ability to handle pressure and ambiguity. You must also have a Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of professional administration or office management. Experience supporting a senior level executive is preferred. Other requirements include:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required including the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, trustees, and donors. - Excellent computer skills, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Office This is a full time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm, with availability as needed for meetings and events.
