Interfacing regularly with the government customer and providing direct support services while serving as the primary task lead for the Fleet Sustainment Branch in Naval Sea Systems Command.
Analyzing moderately complex contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related business management support in the administration of Fleet maintenance support for both Combatant and Amphibious class ships.
Developing logistics plans and strategic support for facilities, personnel, equipment, spares, and maintenance; assisting in the development of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality, cost control, management of schedules, deliverable tracking, and task management.
Assessing and recommending the feasibility of proposed approaches to solve moderately complex problems.
Developing products for cost, planning, and schedule tracking to improve program processes through the research of logistics technology advances.
Leading machinery alterations (MACHALT) program tasks as a team member.
Compiling funding data and timelines for annual financial overviews and POM budget briefings.
Preparing and presenting reports, studies, cost analyses, and briefings to staff and customers.
Facilitating and participating in technical discussions at project review sessions and in negotiations with the customer providing Logistics Road-map recommendations.
Performing additional duties as assigned.
Education, Work Experience, Skills and Clearance Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related discipline and at least two (2) years of relevant experience. Educational requirements may be adjusted for more than seven (7) years of applicable work experience. Years of experience requirements may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or targeted skill sets.
Proficiency with MS Office products.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Secret security clearance verifiable in JPAS.
