The Manager, Planning & Space Inventory maintains the official campus facilities space inventory and manages data related to facilities assignments, usage and utilization for department space allocation, capital project planning, and campus master planning. The position is responsible for developing and maintaining data to support the Facilities and Administrative (F&A) and recharge cost allocations. The position provides relevant data and analytical planning support to the Facilities Resource Committee, Vice Provost, Vice President Administration and Finance, Planning Budget and Analysis, Facilities Services, and numerous campus committees and workgroups on matters related to space allocation, capital planning, campus master planning, F&A costs, and facilities management policies. The position assists their director with general campus planning requirements and may represent the department on campus planning related committees. The Nevada System of Higher education is an integral part of the northern Nevada area, which boasts a favorable tax climate, reasonable commute times, and a diverse selection of arts, cultural and entertainment events. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and four years of related work experience; OR a Master's Degree from an accredited institution and two years of related work experience. Related experience includes:
architectural, engineering, facility management and/or planning experience within complex organizational environments Nevada Class 'C' or higher Operator's License within 30 days of appointment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in planning, architecture, engineering or related field. Knowledge/Experience with space inventory software.
