BOSH Global Services is hiring a Network Technician. Our success depends on our employees and we want you to join us!The perfect candidate for this position will provide daily management of multiple classified Local Area Network (LAN), Metropolitan Area Network (MAN), and Wide Area Networks (WAN).
Other Essential Job Duties include but are not inclusive are:- Provides fault isolation and incident resolution support for Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phones, Video Teleconferencing (VTC), Routers, Switches, TACLANE Cryptographic units, and peripheral devices.- Maintains network operations utilizing various applications to include, but not limited to, SolarWinds, GEM-X, and Cisco ACS (TACACS+) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).- Provides clear concise and detailed documentation for system trouble calls actions performed, configuration modifications, network additions, and removals of networking components using various ticketing systems.- Designs, documents, and provides tech-solutions to include cost estimates for customers.- Creates network signal flow diagrams using Microsoft Visio, updates Excel spreadsheets, and maintains various assorted documentation with a high degree of accuracy.- Works with commercial vendors, security officials, and other military organizations to ensure network solutions are accurate and within standards.- Handles COMSEC material as part of daily duties and performs on-call responsibilities as required.- 24/7 Shift work may be required.Required Skills:- DoD 8570 certified (IAT II) and registered in the Defense Workforce Certification program- Five (5) years of experience with configuration and management of Cisco Routers and Switches, Marconi/Ericsson ATM devices, Juniper WAN Accelerators, and TACLANE and FASTLANE encryption devices.- Five (5) years of experience administering IP protocol network to include VoIP, VTC, and fiber optic technologiesDesired Skills:
Proficient in subnetting IPv4 and understands the OSI layers and how they relate to routed and switched networks.Education:
High School diploma with 5 years' experience.
TS/SCI current w/in 5 years
