Primary Purpose:

The successful individual will manage the sales, operations, and staff development of all outlet stores across Canada to achieve maximum profitability, compliance with company procedures, and excellence in customer service.

Leadership
Set goals, drive and develop the outlet stores management team within Canada to deliver outstanding customer service and financial results.
Manage with integrity, strong work ethics, honesty, fairness, and knowledge, promoting the culture, values, and vision of Coach.
Plan, identify, communicate, and ensure consistency of best practices to ensure smooth flow of operations across Canada.
Review store environments and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement, and provide coaching to store management team to take action and achieve operational & financial goals.
Merchandise Management & Visual Merchandising
Identify and champion Canada Visual merchandising, product, pricing and promotional opportunities and needs to Canada General Management and Corporate RMP teams.
Ensure stores present merchandise in a manner that will maximize sales and achieve optimum merchandise turn, and are reflective of Coach corporate direction. Work in partnership with merchandising, planning, and allocation & Visual Merchandising to adapt corporate direction to Canada s needs.
Stay current on product range, promotions and pricing of competitors products offerings
Oversee maintenance of accurate inventory records
Store Operations, Payroll and Loss Prevention
Adapt NA operational standards and define Canada best practices in terms of staff scheduling, shipment processing etc...
In partnership with finance teams, define annual payroll needs and ideal store census. Accountable for all Canada outlets payroll targets.
Negotiate with Retail Finance total Canada monthly sales and payroll goals. Define store level monthly sales and payroll goals within agreed country level targets.
Approve all store level OTH. Interview, screen, hire, coach, and counsel Store Managers and Managers (and General Managers, if appropriate) in accordance with Coach policies ensuring best talent is in place and set up for success
In Partnership with LP, ensure all standards are upheld within stores and conduct quarterly audits.
Staff Development & Teambuilding
Set goals and define development plan for all store managers, ensure bench strength is in place for all Management roles.
In partnership with Canada Trainer, implement Coach training programs; hold regular staff meetings, and initiate on-the-job training; supervise and train management team to develop their managerial skills
Plan, lead and execute store managers meeting to roll out key initiatives or plan for key holidays
Customer Service
Ensure the highest level of customer service is being provided in all stores
Work with Store Managers to achieve and exceed mystery shop and other customer services goals.
Recognize and motivate best sellers and superb customer service, while serving as a role model for both
Work with stores and corporate Customer Service teams to resolve Canada specific customer issues.


The accomplished individual will possess...
Bachelor s degree and minimum of 10-15 years prior experience in an upscale retail environment, including 5-8 years as a multi-store manager
Self Starter, Entrepreneurial and Pro-active problem solver ability to assess issues and pro-actively develop action steps for resolution in partnership with cross functional partners.
Must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate important issues related to the Canadian Market to Coach Sr. Management, and partner on solutions
Demonstrated ability to think broadly, considering all perspectives on issues, and reaching logical conclusions that best serve Coach as a whole
Ability to be both hands with the stores as well as a strategic thinker driving broader Canada specific initiatives
