* Roles and Responsibilities+ Develop the mission assurance program specifications and processes during program startup and execute throughout the life of the program to ensure mission success of programs+ Conduct review tasks such as document and code peer reviews and test witnessing+ Perform or assure quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program in accordance with contractual requirements+ Leverage configuration management tools, database applications and related software development tools+ Support Business Acquisition Process \(BAP\) activities and proposals,+ Monitor and ensure the program maintains positive program health and performance,+ Provide and assure accurate reporting of program health and performance,+ Take timely action and work with teams to correct deficiencies,+ Directly interface with the Program Manager and OU MA Manager on matters of quality and customer satisfaction,+ Work with program to accurately define, collect, analyze and report quality measures ,+ Provide pro\-active risk and opportunity management support to the program and work with stakeholders to appropriately handle the risks through mitigation, acceptance, transfer, or avoidance,+ Participate in tailoring and guides projects with appropriately sized implementation of the quality management system,+ Support program implementation of technical measurement systems,+ Facilitate management and control of the program by utilizing Northrop Grumman's Program Execution Framework \(PEF\),+ Ensure program knowledge of the PM Pro, PEF, and Gate Reviews,+ Facilitate implementation of new MA initiatives or goals from the OU, Division, or Sector,+ Assess, qualify, monitor, and report on prospective or contracted suppliers,+ Participate in Supplier Management Teams \(SMTs\) and Supplier Assessment Management System \(SAMS\) assessments,+ Assess product or service requirements and flow down quality and performance requirements to suppliers,+ Lead causal analysis and resolution where significant problems or risks arise that affect the program's success,+ Employ knowledge of quality models like ISO9000, AS9011, and/or Capability Maturity Model - Integration \(CMMI\), to gauge the maturity of specific major projects,+ Implement and conduct Risk Based Process Evaluations+ Apply knowledge of continuous improvement approaches, e\.g\., Six Sigma, or Lean to implement improvements for the programBasic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
+ Bachelor's degree and 9 years related experience+ Mission Assurance/Project Management/Engineering experience+ Effective communication, presentation and consulting skills+ Experience with Quality Management Systems+ Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint+ Advanced skills utilizing Microsoft Excel+ Advanced skill in Risk and Opportunity management+ Advanced working experience with the setup and coordination of an Agile development environment+ US Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident Status \(Green Card\) required to obtain Public Trust Security clearancePreferred Qualifications:
