All your different sides are welcome here, as we believe they make our team, our products and our services, that much better\.Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking an Manager of Information Technology who will be responsible for leading task order and work orders, directly interfacing and interact with both customer and Northrop Grumman management chains to ensure alignment of information services directions and business requirements\. Provide leadership and support over all phases of the development or operational lifecycles they are responsible to include activities supporting the customers, strategy development, budget and cost management, proposal development, product and service acquisition and delivery, teaming relationships and communication activities thereby ensuring timely and cost effective delivery, and Northrop Grumman and customer management satisfaction\.The Manager of Information Technology will manage the operations and engineering task team to include employees and subcontractors, develop project related documentation including project management plans, risk management plans, communications plans, scope statements, project charters, work breakdown structures \(WBS\), project schedules, closeout documentation, etc\., that enables the successful management of the datacenter migration and ultimately ensures the project's success\.Must possess strong oral and written communications skills in order to clearly and effectively convey issues, status reports, risk/opportunity assessment, quality management, data validation, and operational support\.This position will be located in Woodlawn, MD\. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Information Technology Support Services contract for the SSA\.+ Responsibilities for this position will include:
+ Organizes resources to support multiple tasks simultaneously and manages the execution of those tasks across Northrop Grumman and sub\-contractor teams+ Provides oral and written communications on status and issues to client and NG Management team+ Anticipates issues or problems; works to mitigate or negate the anticipated effects of the problems+ Manages day\-to\-day tasks of multiple projects, ensures projects have detailed plans and staffing is allocated efficiently, defines and monitors metrics to ensure projects are on track\.+ Coordinates with Program Management and Mission Assurance leaders on the project to assure effective internal as well as external quality assessments, reporting and tracking, and other activities\.+ Ensures events and meetings are accurately documented and recorded, and resulting action items are assigned and tracked to completion\.+ Ensures Statement of Work responsibilities and deliverables are delivered on time and according to specifications and requirements\.+ Assists PMs with schedule and technical performance of projects and provides expertise regarding project documentation requirements; monitors adherence to project plans and schedules' performance\.+ Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and non\-technical audiences, as well as interface with the customer on a daily basis+ Ensure HIPAA violations do not occur within the project by taking a proactive role in the constant vigilance and rigor to emphasize HIPAA compliance throughout all levels of the program \(systems, personnel, and data\)\.Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of related experience, Master's Degree and 10 years of related experience, or 16 years of related experience will satisfy degree and experience requirements+ Minimum of 5 years of hands on and demonstrable combined experience of:
planning, designing, developing, & implementing operations and engineering in one of the following technology areas:
web development, telephony systems, or service request systems\.+ Must be technically capable in performing at a subject matter expert level of one of the following technology areas in addition to performing management duties:
web development, telephony systems, or service request systems\.+ Previous experience with leading technical teams for 5 or more employees or contractors+ Experience with MS Excel, MS Project, and MS Visio+ Able to obtain and maintain a Position of Public Trust clearance+ Must be a US citizen or US Permanent Resident \(green card holder\)Preferred Qualifications:
+ Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration\.+ Project Management Certifications such as:
