All your different sides are welcome here, as we believe they make our team, our products and our services, that much better\.Northrop Grumman is seeking expertise in the areas of healthcare reform, specifically in the formulation of Medicare policy, drafting of or commenting on proposed rule\-makings by HHS and underlying agencies, and evaluation of alternative payment models to traditional fee\-for\-service\. The selected candidate will be responsible for being a thought leader in our IT practice, enhancing our ability to craft system and information requirements and develop analytical reporting capabilities that help our clients undertake and enhance healthcare reform initiatives\.+ The successful candidate will interface with client personnel and project teams and is responsible mainly for facilitating and interpreting Medicare legislative and regulatory initiatives and related business process execution for Federal modernization efforts\.+ This individual should have a strong understanding of Medicare policy and the legislative and regulatory environment driving healthcare reform\.Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degrees in government, public health, business or a related field with 15 years of relevant experience\.+ Well versed in Medicare business knowledge to include experience in the assessment, and implementation of Medicare legislation, regulations or policies\.+ Experience in the translation of Medicare legislation, regulations or policies into system requirements\.+ Ability to communicate effectively with project staff and customers to analyze and solve complex issues\.+ Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally\.Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master's or doctorate's degree in such areas involving the government, public policy or healthcare\.+ Experience in the development of Medicare legislation, regulations or policies\.+ Experience with and knowledge of human services programs\.+ Experience with IT Project Development Lifecycle\.Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce\.
