This person is needed to help ensure timely execution of all projects within the FPS 2 business operations project team that supports the Fraud Prevention System \(FPS\) 2 program for our Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services \(CMS\) client\. Our program is on the cutting\-edge of health care reform in the United States and is making a difference in the lives of all Americans\.This position will be located in Woodlawn, MD\.The Project Manager for operations will plan, coordinate, implement and finalize projects according to the specifications and deadlines and ensure that the project is within budget\. The project manager for operations will oversee projects from the planning stage through implementation, testing and reporting\. The position will be responsible with assisting in planning, coordinating and finalizing projects on\-time and within budget\. The project manager will be the main point of communication with customers for any operations projects for which the Company is responsible for executing\. The project manager must have project management skills, and a strong sense of focus, organization, attention to detail and a proven ability to guide others to deliver outstanding results in a timely manner\.+ Create a project definition to determine purpose, goals, and constraints and articulate project management controls+ Produce, publish, and update charts showing progress and notify management of potential slippage of due dates and milestones+ Manage project budgets, scheduling, planning and resource assignments\.+ Prepare scopes of work \(SOW\), project change orders and other materials sufficient to meet contractual requirements+ Manages Change Control Process and Configuration Control+ Manages NGC assets+ Work with and communicate progress to customers and internal stakeholders and ensure that projects are scoped properly and handed off seamlessly for deployment+ Complete project closeout by verifying technical accuracy and completeness of work+ Contribute to the development and management of project metrics and manage business objectives as they pertain to each project+ Perform other duties as assigned by managementBasic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience or a Master's degree and 8 years of related experience+ 5 years of progressive experience in the areas of business and financial analysis, project management, risk assessment and feasibility studies within government and financial services industry+ Project management in a technical field:
5 years+ Previous experience on a Fraud Analytics software program+ Knowledge of IPRS, PM PRO and MPM, PLSC tools+ Proficient with agile methodologyPreferred Qualifications:
