The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health Solutions Management operating unit which focuses on healthcare IT solutions for our Federal, state, and local government clients\. Our practice area in Woodlawn, MD consults primarily to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services \(CMS\) as well as the Social Security Administration \(SSA\)Roles and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate, under the supervision of testing team lead, will be responsible for the below activities:
+ Analyze business and system requirements to develop system and integration testing test cases, execute and validate test cases, defect reporting/tracking, and other project related activities\.+ Provide level\-of\-effort \(LOE\) estimates\.+ Attend requirements reviews and joint application development \(JAD\) sessions+ Create various testing documentation using manual and automated techniques+ Work closely with Requirements Analysts and Developers to identify and resolve defects\.+ Additional responsibilities may include analysis of Change Requests, Trouble Tickets, participation in status meetings, and supporting team members with day\-to\-day tasks\.Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
+ BS in Computer Science or related field, equivalent combination of experience and education will be accepted\.+ 10 years of IT testing experience including manual, automated, and end\-to\-end testing of Cloud, Web, and Mid\-Tier systems\.+ Hands\-on experience with testing tools such as Jira and HP Application Lifecycle Management \(ALM\)\.+ Experience testing using MySQL or similar tools\.+ Experience with frontend and backend testing\.+ Expertise with Microsoft Office applications \(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio\)\.+ US Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident Status \(Green Card\) to obtain required Public Trust Security clearance\.Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
+ Experience working on Federal programs that are of high priority, visibility, and public\-facing\.+ Experience within the healthcare industry\.+ Experience with Agile delivery programs; particularly those using the United States Digital Service \(USDS\) Playbook and TechFAR\.+ Experience consulting to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services \(CMS\) including organizations such as the Center for Clinical Standards and Quality \(CCSQ\), Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation \(CMMI\), and Office of Technology Solutions \(OTS\)\.+ Specific program policy and/or regulation knowledge or experience related to CMS quality payment programs such as:
- Development Environment Consolidation Contract \(DECC\)- Quality Improvements Organizations \(QIO\)- Hospital Quality Reporting \(HQR\)- Physician Quality Reporting System \(PQRS\)- Value Modifier \(VM\)- Electronic Health Record \(EHR\) Meaningful Use \(MU\)- Alternative Payment Models \(APMs\) / Accountable Care Organizations \(ACOs\)+ Experience with CMS quality measures and claims data\.+ Experience creating and running automated test scripts\.+ Experience with performance testing\.+ Experience testing in various environments including Amazon Web Services, Oracle, UNIX, and IBM Mainframe\.+ Knowledge in Java, XML, SAS, and Selenium scripts\.+ Experience with Section 508 Compliance testing \(especially JAWS\)\.+ Strong analytical and interpersonal skills+ Excellent oral and written communication skills\.Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce\.
