Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Business Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals\. This position will be located in Woodlawn, MD\.The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health Systems Management operating unit which focuses on Healthcare IT solutions for our Federal, State, and Local government clients\.The Business Analyst is required to gather, analyze, research, review and develop requirements and technical documentation for initiatives in the areas of Identity, Credentials and Access Management\. The qualified candidate will lead to facilitate meetings with stakeholders and to analyze system requirements and use cases\.Responsibilities for this position will include:
- Facilitate and lead stakeholder interviews and Joint Application Development \(JAD\) sessions to solicit user and business requirements and develop functional requirements and design specifications- Participate in orientation and project meetings- Lead and manage development of Information Security and User requirements, translate detailed requirements for high level requirements- Develop Software Development Lifecycle \(SDLC\) documents including As\-Is and To\-Be business processes, create use cases and create test cases- Conduct software testing for security applications- Provide assistance in IT Security policy analysis- Document meeting minutes- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and non\-technical audiences, as well as interface with the customer on a daily basis- Become knowledgeable on the HIPAA policies and procedures for the program and ensure awareness of HIPAA breach process\. Understand your role in HIPAA compliance and be able to execute that role in an effective manner\.Basic Qualifications:
- Master's Degree and 8 years of experience, Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of work experience, or 14 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree- 5 years of experience in requirements gathering and documentation, process flow and process modeling performing and systems analysis for systems that cross multiple components and impact multiple systems- 5 years of experience in business process reengineering- 5 years of experience in developing lifecycle documents, including translating Use Cases, Detailed Functional Requirements, Detailed Design Specifications, and Test Cases- 3 years of experience leading requirements discovery working sessions with an audience of customer and systems Subject Matter Experts \(SMEs\)- 3 years of experience with Structured Query Language \(SQL\) to analyze and manage data in relational database management systems- Provide testing support and input to application testing documentation in various environmentsPreferred Qualifications:
- Experience performing user analysis for systems which impact a large numbers of users that includes the following skills;o interviewing skillso analytical skillso observational skillso interpersonal communications skills- Experience with systems validation- Experience working with Agile methodology- In depth knowledge of the Systems Development Lifecycle \(SDLC\)- Experience in conducting user acceptance testing \(UAT\) and regression testing- Strong analytical skills- Solid communication skills- Prior SSA experience is a plusPreferred Certifications:
