* Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals\. These positions will be located in Woodlawn, MD\.Put your years of experience as a Senior Cloud Architect into a future of excellence by joining a Northrop Grumman team delivering cutting edge technology solutions to our clients\. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health Solutions Management division which focuses on healthcare IT solutions for our Federal, State, and local government clients\.Senior Cloud Architect will develop and implement cloud\-based initiatives to ensure that systems are scalable, reliable, secure, and supportable, and that they achieve business and IT performance and budgetary objectives\. May lead and direct one or more project teams engaged in the design, implementation and modification of IT projects that span across functional organizations; prepares technical solutions, project execution plans, basis of estimates for new opportunities and identifies appropriate technical and business resources needed for the current and future projects\. The Information Systems Cloud Architect keeps current on advances in the field of IT, and provides technical and analytical guidance to the project team\. The Information Systems Cloud Architect may act as a customer contact for technology, lead technical review sessions with customer\.Responsibilities for this position include:
-Foster and maintain relationships among technical vendors germane to Cloud Adoption and maturity efforts in order to identify pertinent technological trends and potential disruptors-Work onsite with the customer's technical teams and leadership to build relationships and find ways to leverage and maximize technical investment recommendations-Assist with RFP technical architecture proposal responses
- Help establish a strategy and approach to transform customer infrastructure and development environment to a Cloud based solution-Drive requirements for the customer, integrating multiple cloud capabilities and scenarios supporting the service such as service availability, quality, outage management, subscription management, correlation of usage and charges, and cost efficient solution architecture\.-Provide high\-level architectural expertise to managers and technical staff, and the customer-Function as a technical expert on project assignments, and must possess the ability to apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments\.-Plan and lead major technology assignments, with the potential to supervise others in doing so\.-Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and non\-technical audiences, as well as interface with the senior customers on a daily basis-Ensure HIPAA violations do not occur within the program by taking a proactive role in the constant vigilance and rigor to emphasize HIPAA compliance throughout all levels of the program \(systems, personnel, and data\)\. To be fully aware of all PHI/PII within their respective program and how it is protected\.Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Information Systems or related disciplines and 14 years of experience; Master's degree in Business, Information Technology, Information Systems or related disciplines and 12 years' experience; PhD in Business, Information Technology, Information Systems or related disciplines and 9 years' experience; or 18 years of experience will satisfy the education and experience requirement\.-6 years of experience facilitating Cloud & Infrastructure strategy and architecture development as well as detailed planning at the service level-4 years of experience developing architectures and solve complex infrastructure and application problems that efficiently deploy enterprise services-6 years of experience deploying solutions to Private Cloud \(VMware, Hyper\-V, Openstack\) and Public Cloud \(IaaS such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, VMware vCloud Air, and various PaaS and SaaS vendors\)-Ability to obtain a position of public trust\.
