This position will be located in Woodlawn, MD\. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health Solutions Management division which focuses on healthcare IT solutions for our federal, state, and local government clients\.The PMO Analyst will apply a thorough understanding of project management fundamentals, including familiarity with Project Management Institute's \(PMI\) Project Management Body of Knowledge \(PMBOK\) and it associated process groups and knowledge areas\. Assist the PMO to organize program processes and procedures\. As well as assist Program Managers with project planning, execution, and monitoring of client programs, including budget management, project tasks, and resource tracking\. Prepare and present project briefings and summaries to NGC management and government personnel as required\. Lead or support matrix teams and develop and maintain professional relationships with firm, government, and contracting partners\.Roles and Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Program Management Office, the PMO Analystsupports the needs of the healthcare IT Programs\. PMO Analysts are technically astute and assist the programs in completing all deliverable activities on\-time and within budget\. They also aim to improve project administration processes by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions\. PMO Analyst tasks are identified as follows:
+ Develop and maintain project management plans+ Develop and manage program schedules, work breakdown and organizational breakdown structures,+ Manage the Risk process, as well as the Risk Registers and Issue logs+ Develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client\-satisfaction goals and objectives\.+ Monitor project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients\.+ Implementation and management of the program's Share and SharePoint sites as required\.+ Track and identify project's notable achievements\.+ Manage the project's Contract Requirement Traceability Matrix \(CRTM\) and compliance to the Statement of Work \(SOW\)\.+ Assist in preparing for program audits and reviews\.+ Prepare and submit project status and client summary reports\.+ Maintain project team roster\.+ Develop monthly program highlights for the division newsletterBasic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, the candidate must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
+ A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required with 6 or more years of professional experience\.+ 3\-5 years of direct PMO support work experience\.+ 3 plus years experience managing project tasks\.+ Requires expert level knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\.+ Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication for project summaries and presentations at all levels\.+ Strong analytical abilities\.+ Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with critical partners, both internal and external\.+ The ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic, fast\-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks, changing requirements and priorities, and short deadlines\.+ Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder\.+ Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust designation\.Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Associate Project Management \(CAPM\) or Project Management Professional \(PMP\) certification preferred+ Knowledge of Earn Value Management+ A minimum of 3 years of experience with and understanding of doing business with the federal government, specifically the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid+ Knowledge of project management best practices\.+ Strong analytical skills+ Possess business research and superb organizational skills\.+ Keen attention to detail\.Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce\.
