* The Modeling & Operations Software \(MOS\) Deputy will work at Schriever AFB in close coordination with the senior MOS Program Leader, other senior JRDC Program Leaders, and Missile Defense Agency's customer leadership\. The JRDC MOS portfolio includes 8 different product lines each managed by an NGC Organizational Manager with over a dozen suppliers\. These organizations combine to provide systems engineering and software development of modeling and simulation, as well as operational capabilities to BMD systems and MDA event execution\. The team of 300 employees is located at Schriever AFB, Boulder, Colorado, and Huntsville, Alabama\.

* Responsibilities include:

* + Management oversight of cost, schedule, and technical performance for each product line within MOS+ Customer relationship management with multiple MDA customers at various levels of seniority+ Close coordination with the MOS Program Leader to establish strategic plans for the organization+ Provide backup support to the MOS Program Leader at key JRDC Program meetings and participate with other JRDC Program Leaders to ensure program objectives and processes are executed consistently+ Increase the culture of rigorous engineering, improved software development practices, innovative technology exploration, and mission excellence Responsible for the success of existing JRDC MOS directorate initiatives including affordability+ Assist the MOS Program Leader with Northrop Grumman business development initiatives including strategic growth opportunities, collaboration with corporate reach\-back leaders, and the utilization of Northrop Grumman strategic talent\.ERAPIAMDERAPJRDCMSCOMSTR

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* + Education:
14 Years with Bachelors in Science; 12 Years with Masters; 9 Years with PhD\.+ Leadership experience successfully managing large technical teams of 75 or more employees+ Cross\-functional systems engineering experience as well as a basic understanding of Cyber Security and Information Assurance requirements+ Strong technical background with software development and related development methodologies \(e\.g\. Agile\) on small to large systems+ Demonstrated programmatic experience with Earned Value \(EV\) methodologies, proposal development, contract management, development of project Integrated Master Plan \(IMP\) and Integrated Master Schedule \(IMS\)+ Demonstrated experience with customer relationship management and personnel management+ Must have excellent communication skills, and will be expected to coordinate activities across a diverse and disparate MDA customer base+ Must possess a Secret clearanceNorthrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce\.
