* The selected candidate will perform duties as an F\-35 Modification \(Mod\) Supportable Low Observables \(SLO\) Engineer at the Fleet Readiness Center - East \(FRC\-E\), Marine Corp Air Station \(MCAS\) Cherry Point, NC\.Candidate will support F\-35 aircraft post DD250 modifications and assist/advise the depot technicians in the removal and application of LO materials within the published engineering guidelines\. The candidate will advise and coordinate with Subject Matter Experts \(SMEs\), Quality Assurance \(QA\), customer and depot technicians in the troubleshooting and repair of LO system damages/anomalies\. He/she will be responsible for managing damage and repair characterization in the Low Observables Health Assessment System \(LOHAS\)\.Candidate will also be responsible for maintaining the Radar Cross Section \(RCS\) integrity of the F\-35 and will be the onsite expert in operating the Radar Verification Radar \(RVR\)\. He/she will operate, and with Signature Engineering support, analyze the output of RCS measurement equipment and will be required to identify, develop, implement and sustain process improvements as they relate to LO system maintenance\.In addition to primary responsibilities, he/she is expected to assist the Mod Technical Lead in coordinating modification activity, to include but not limited to kit management, providing engineering support/data to the depot team, mod coordination, planning, and reporting mod status to the Site Lead and Fort Worth Fleet Mods management\.Must be willing to work any shift, weekends, overtime and holidays to support the modification schedule as needed\.Basic Qualifications:
\- BS Degree in engineering or technical field with a minimum 5 years low observable maintenance experience with military 5th generation aircraft\- Current and active Secret clearance requiredPreferred Qualifications:
