* Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer to work on a large Cyber Security Program in Landover, MD\.A successfulengineercandidateshould have general experience in LAN/WAN network engineering \(including network design\), installation, configuration, and maintenance of various network equipment \(routers, switches and associated technologies, as well as at least five \(5\) years of experience with VoIP phone and VTCoIP technology\. Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet program needs, including present and future capacity requirements\. Should perform system level analysis; prepare technical designs and solutions, conduct testing of network design, conductnetwork setup and troubleshooting and debugging\.Successful candidates shall maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc\. Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network\.Systems engineer should have experience with multiple networking protocols across client\-server platforms as well as an understanding of large\-scale processor applications \(TCP/IP, SONET, EIGRP, UDP, DHCP, SMTP, and FTP\)\. Network engineer should have experience in the application of network monitoring and maintenance equipment \(use of network sniffers and protocol analyzers\)\. Some travel may be required\.Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor'sdegree \(or higher\) in a technical discipline and nine \(9\) years of experience or an additional four \(4\) years of experience in lieu of degree+ 5 years experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN technologies\.+ Experience with networking protocols across client\-server platforms as well as an understanding of large\-scale processor applications\.+ US Citizenship+ Active Top Sercet Clearance with ability to obtain SCI AccessPreferred Qualifications:
+ DoD 8570 IAT 2 certification \(Security , GSEC, SSCP, CCNA\-Security\) preferred; Cisco certifications \(CCNA, CCNP\) preferred\.+ Experience with Apple MacIntosh, COTS, UNIX, Linux and be able to analyze and define network security requirements for local and wide area networks\.Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce\.
