* This is a leadership opportunity within Northrop Grumman's Global Mobility Office \(GMO\) to lead special projects and initiatives in a fast\-pace, evolving environment\. The GMO works in conjunction with sectors and key functional areas to ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements and mitigate the risk of conducting business worldwide through education and partnership\. The GMO provides enterprise\-wide services for temporary assignments \(domestic and international\), one\-way transfers, and international business travel\.Responsibilities of the GMO Special Projects Manager include:
- Developing and leading the execution of a GMO communications plan to ensure the GMO is staying connected with customers and partners- Developing and leading the execution of change management initiatives to ensure evolving processes are effectively communicated and adopted- Developing and leading document management activities within the GMO- Coordinating, managing, and leading special projects for the GMO, which may include activities such as:
o Leading working groups and/or IPTs to address new immigration and/or host country labor law requirementso Working in conjunction with Global Supply Chain as the GMO lead on Request for Proposals \(RFPs\) for GMO service providerso Review and analysis of GMO metricso Research and benchmarking- Other support to the GMO Director as requiredBasic Qualifications:
- Bachelors with 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 8 years of relevant professional experience- A high degree of collaboration, communication and project management skills are essential for success in this role\.- Candidate should be able to demonstrate the proven ability to build partnerships across a diverse set of stakeholders\.- Adaptability, sound judgment, independent thinking, initiative, and follow\-through are essential\.- Proven ability to lead teams through challenging and complex problem solving is a must\.- Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed for presentation development and delivery and daily interactions with sector leadership, functional partners, and programs\.- Individual must foster and maintain positive relationships and collaborate with GMO team members and internal stakeholders\.- Enthusiasm for working through complex challenges and problemPreferred Qualifications:
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of Northrop Grumman organization- Global Mobility, International, or other related experience- Project management experience- Understanding of general immigration practices- Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation \(FAR\) and other contractual regulationsNorthrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce\.
