The selected applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team program \(US\-CERT\) responsible for analyzing and reducing cyber threats and vulnerabilities, disseminating cyber threat warning information, and coordinating incident response activities\. US CERT provides advanced network and digital media analysis expertise and defends against malicious activity targeting networks within the United States and abroad\.The Cyber Technologist/Strategist 6 position will be located in McLean, VA\.Position Description:

- Designs and develops new systems, applications, and solutions for external customer's enterprise\-wide cyber systems and networks\.
- Develops strategy and technology expertise to assist the US\-CERT to develop/refine strategic plans and technology roadmaps; support engagement and coordination with stakeholders\.
- Integrates new architectural analysis of cyber security features and relates existing system to future needs and trends, embeds advanced forensic tools and techniques for attack reconstruction, provides engineering recommendations, and resolves integrations and testing issues\.
- Interfaces with external entities including law enforcement, intelligence and other government organizations and agencies\.Roles and Responsibilities:

- Develops plans, processes, and technology requirements to advance US\-CERT strategic vision\.
- Align US\-CERT's capability to departmental strategies, policies and technology capabilities\.
- Identify innovative technologies and recommend integration strategies with the NCCIC and US\-CERT mission space\.
- Identify research and technologies to address capability gaps for emerging cyber threats, attack methods and evolving tactics, tactics and techniques\.
- Conduct engineering design and development to create technical capabilities that offer Cyber solutions\.
- Recommend Company investments in cybersecurity capabilities to provide big data analytics and development of integrated cybersecurity solutions\.

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related technical discipline with a minimum of 20 years related technical experience required\.

* An active Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI is required\.In addition, selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation \(EOD\) for continued employment\.

* Strong operational experience in cyber security with understanding of Cybersecurity operations\.
*

* Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, as well as software security engineering\.
