* for the Civil Solutions \(CS\) Business Unit\.The successful candidate should have demonstrated knowledge of all addressable customer organizations, budgets, near, mid\-term and long term procurements, competitors, required investments, and the customer set's future vision\. Specifically, the successful candidate will work closely with customers to identify and shape near\-term and long\-term requirements, work directly with the appropriate CS BU executing organizations, manage the account's pipeline, conduct activities in the Northrop Grumman Business Acquisition Process \(BAP\) leading to opportunity identification and qualification, contribute to the groups strategic plan, and engage in the capture process through award\.The

* will serve as a principal liaison/point of contact with all key customers within assigned market segment and perform ongoing assessments of customer requirements, determine market trends and develop strategies for the application of Northrop Grumman capabilities and discriminators against specific customer needs / opportunities\.The individual will work closely with the operating units to identify common solutions that meet the needs of the business unit\. In addition, s/he will work closely with the supply chain and strategy teams to determine common relationships required to scale in this market\. The individual will prepare comprehensive industry business/market/account plans that include in\-depth analyses of market opportunities for our products & services for the account\. The successful candidate possesses a detailed understanding of customer vision, strategy, mission requirements and key problem areas/concerns and desired outcomes\.Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree\. Additional 4 years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree\.-A minimum of 4 years of successful business development expertise in marketing systems development, systems integration and/or IT services arena-Deep understanding of the Department of State account including Bureau of Information Resource Management, Consular Affair, and Diplomatic Security\.Must know key Department of State programs and have customer relationships\. Knowledge of USAID also desired as the individual must develop cross agency pipeline for foreign affairs related opportunities\.-Detailed understanding of the market and familiarity with key industry individuals in that market\.-Candidate is expected to spend majority of time in customer sites; DC or Northern VA or suburban MD location is required\. Ability to travel to additional customer sites as needed\.-Understanding of and experience bidding and winning in the Federal/Civil marketplace\.-Demonstrated experience identifying, qualifying and winning $10M opportunities\.-Demonstrated success in a matrixed organization, interacting with multiple levels of management\.-Ability to obtain secret clearance desired \(if needed\)Preferred Qualifications:
