* Engineering Competitive Analysis and Tools \(ECAT\) Center of Excellence \(CoE\) is seeking an Affordability Engineerto support the F35 Program in Redondo Beach, California\. This position is responsible for performing Cost ReductionInitiative \(CRI\) analysis utilizing cost prediction techniques including parametric estimating\. CRIs are assessed viadeveloping detailed business case analysis presented to major stakeholders for approval\. Responsibilities includetracking CRI execution progress, identifying performance variances, isolate and mitigate technical variances by interactingwith several stakeholders of various functional disciplines and IPTs\. Develop and track affordability metrics utilizingstatistical analysis and engineering economics\. The Affordability Engineer will also be responsible for Design to Cost\(DTC\) target development and analysis supporting make versus buy decisions\.Candidate must be a self\-starting problem solver, possess a strong work ethic, good written and verbal communication,interpersonal skills and be available for travel on short notice\.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM \(Science, Technical, Engineering, or Mathematics\) discipline is required\. Must have t least2 years of experience as an analyst, e\.g\. \- in accounting, financial analysis, actuarial, or other complex financial dataanalytical work\.Preferred Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience minimum of Life Cycle Cost/DTC/CRI/CAIV\.
