* Are you ready to leverage your knowledge and experience in a new role? Northrop Grumman is currently seeking multiple Field Service Technicians to provide on\-call administration, training, and technical surge support during US Forces Korea \(USFK\) / 8thArmy semi\-annual Noncombatant Evacuation Operations \(NEO\) exercises\. Work locations during NEO exercises may include USAG\-Yongsan, USAG\-Humphreys, USAG\-Daegu \(Camps Walker, Carroll, Henry and George\), Camp Casey and/or other locations within the Republic of Korea as designated by the Commander\. Status as an on\-call employee under this job announcement may offer opportunities for other on\-call, part\-time or eventual full\-time opportunities within the Korean theater as they become available\.Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree \(four years' experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement\)+ Three years' experience working alongside military personnel and a familiarity with methods to train and instruct military personnel+ Strong knowledge of LAN and wireless communications hardware and software in multi\-protocol environment and network management software+ Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate comfortably with customers+ Ability to lift 60 lbs \(27 kgs\)+ Must be able to stand for long period of time and work extended hours \(10 per day\)+ National Agency Check \(NAC\) investigation+ U\.S\. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Invited Contractor status under the ROK/US Status of Forces Agreement \(SOFA\)Preferred Qualifications:
+ U\.S\. Secret Clearance+ Experience with NEO Tracking System mission and operations or similar systems+ Tier 1 Network and System support experience - providing various technical support out in the field+ Experience with PC/LAN communications hardware and software+ Experience with troubleshooting COM port devices+ Knowledgeable in barcode and passport scanners+ Experience with client/server application programs+ Prior experience supporting CFC/USFK and Service Components+ Bi\-lingual preferred \(Korean and English\)Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce\.
