*
* Possess industry relevant knowledge in the field of disability management programs to include Workers' Compensation Program, Return to Work Process, and Accommodation programs in support of Northrop Grumman Corporation employees\. The candidate must be able to perform effective case management services consistent with Case Management Society of America \(CMSA\) Standards of Practice to employees receiving occupational and non\-occupational disability benefits\.Possess organizational and computer skills for timely resolution of employee matters within the scope of workers' compensation programs, disability management and reasonable accommodation practices\. Ability to perform independently, initiate and maintain correspondence with employees, insurance companies and healthcare providers\.The candidate will be experienced in occupational and environmental health services focused on health promotion, illness and injury prevention, and the protection of individuals from occupational and environmental hazards\.

* Key Functional Responsibilities include:

*
* + Provides proactive case management and early return to work services for occupational and non\-occupational injuries and illnesses\.+ Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and standards governing health and safety for employees and the environment\.+ Provide health promotion and disease prevention strategies\.+ Provide counseling, health education and training programs as applicable\.+ Render opinions regarding case costs, treatment plan, outcome and problem areas, and makes recommendations to facilitate Return to Work \(RTW\) in collaboration with appropriate TPA adjusters\.+ Demonstrate ability to meet administrative requirements, with a minimum of supervisory intervention\.+ Executes timely and safe return to work practices by establishing a professional working relationship with the employee, physician, manager, and other appropriate internal partners\.+ Maintains contact and communicates with TPA adjusters to apprise them of case activity, case direction\.+ Participates in routine file reviews for occupational and non\-occupational claims\.+ Utilizes experience and medical resources to interpret medical records and test results and provides assessment accordingly\.+ Possess knowledge of regulatory requirements for People with Disability \(PWD\) to include ADA, OFCCP, and FML\.+

* Participate in the development of innovative accommodation solutions to support timely and safe Return to Work \(RTW\)\.
*
* + Provide accommodations to PWD to remain at work and be productive\. May assess Operation Impact employee needs and make recommendations\.+ Provide employees with education and resources to assist in making sound medical decisions while connecting with cost effective quality medical care\.

* Basic Qualifications:

*

* Associate's degree or relevant course work/certifications
*
* +
*
* Minimum five \(5\) years clinical experience preferably in Orthopedics, Neurology, Intensive Care, Occupational Medicine, or related health care discipline
*

* Minimum of three \(3\) years of experience specific to Workers Compensation benefit and or non\-occupational disability programs\.
*

*
* General working knowledge of case management practices and ability to quickly learn and apply workers' compensation/case management services\.
*

*
* Excellent oral and written communications skills to effectively facilitate return\-to\-work solutions within a matrix organization and ensure timely, quality documentation\.
*

*
* Excellent analytical and customer service skills to facilitate the resolution of case management problems\.
*
* +
*
* Demonstrated ability to establish collaborative working relationships with claims adjusters, employees, Human Resource Business Partners and attorneys\.
*
* +
*
* Must be proficient with standard office PC software applications \(Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel\)\.

* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing \(BSN\)
*

* CCM, COHN, CRRN or CDMS certification
