* Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems \(NGAS\) is seeking a System Survivability Engineer 4 for the System Survivability Integration team located in Oklahoma City, OK\.The qualified applicant will take direction from and work with the Low Observables \(LO\) Integrated Product Team \(IPT\) in Palmdale CA and the Customer Sustainability Office in Oklahoma City, OK, ensuring that electromagnetic test requirements are met at the material, component and system level while ensuring B\-2 sustainment needs are being addressed_Role and Responsibilities_
- Perform Radar Cross Section \(RCS\) and Supportability data analysis; provide recommendations to the customer in Oklahoma City and the Program in Palmdale
- Perform RCS test plan development and support on and offsite testing as required
- Reduce data and summarize results to support design decisions and analysis validation
- Understand LO support requirements and plan, coordinate and develop the required tools and materials to reduce the survivability related Maintenance Man Hours \(MMH\) spent by the customer on maintaining the B\-2
- Coordinate LO Supportability requirements with RCS model designers and model fabrication to ensure the model meets LO supportability requirements\._As a Survivability Engineer 4 the following skills are anticipated to be in place prior to start\._

Applies extensive technical expertise, and has full knowledge of other related disciplines\. Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings\.
- Problem Solving:
Develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity\.
- Discretion/Latitude:
Work is performed without appreciable direction\. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment\. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long\- term perspective, for desired results\.
- Impact:
Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role\. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in failure to achieve major organizational objectives\.
- Liaison:
Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects\. Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations\.

* _Basic Qualifications_
*
*
- Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM \(Science, Technology, Engineering or Math\) discipline from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 9 years engineering experience; 7 years of experience with a Masters;' 5 years of experience with a PhD
- Comprehensive understanding of Systems Survivability and the techniques used to control aircraft electromagnetic signature\.
- Experience leading technology development and implementation teams containing individual with different areas of technical expertise and skills levels\.
- Experience equivalent to leading at least three low observable aircraft modernization projects from technology demonstration, development, flight test and production including development of all associated contractor acquisition documents\.
- Experience presenting technical, cost and schedule performance briefings to senior management and customers
- Good written and verbal communication, mentoring experience, and good interpersonal skills
- Active Top Secret DoD clearance and the ability to obtain SAP/SAR access\.

- Master's Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering discipline from an accredited college or university
- Prior experience in successful capture of new business and contractor acquisition document development, and in developing and implementing new low observable technologies onto an existing platform
- Demonstrated ability, within diverse LO technologies, to develop new project requirements and implementation strategies including significant project management skills and proven success leading teams to execute projects on schedule within budget
- Significant knowledge associated with the managing of cost type contracts, earned value, risk management & management of suppliers; and familiarity with the Low Observable customer community
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, extensive mentoring experience, and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated capability to make good and difficult decisions amidst incomplete data that impact team direction and team performance outcomes
- Knowledge of company best practices and government acquisition process and expertise in federal procurement and programming / budgeting processes
