Perform high level property loss control site inspections of existing and prospective policyholders for the Specialty Property Division of Hanover. Generate technical property loss control reports designed to identify property loss control exposures and recommend appropriate controls to minimize the frequency and magnitude of potential losses.Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Conducting property loss control field inspections of existing and prospective policyholders for Specialty Property Division of Hanover; includes consulting with customers regarding solutions to identified property loss control exposures/deficiencies. (40%)- Generating technical property loss control reports and other related documents in conjunction with the field inspections carried out as outlined in the first bullet item. (55%)- Responding to Specialty Property loss control staff re loss control related questions/issues. (5%)- Core responsibilities:
Perform property loss control site inspections of existing and prospective policyholders for the Specialty Property Division of Hanover. Interact/consult with customers to help solve/resolve identified property loss control deficiencies.Position RequirementsSkills and Experience:
- 5+ years Specialty Property or equivalent (HPR) property loss control field inspection experience.- BS in an engineering discipline preferred.- Strong analytical skills.- Strong organizational skills- Strong technical writing skills- Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills- Sound technical understanding of NFPA 13 and NFPA 30, or equivalent (Factory Mutual Guidelines)Benefits To Joining The Hanover Team:
