* Survivability and Low Observable \(LO\) systems engineer in Southern California\. Perform on\-aircraft visual inspections and perform LO diagnostic testing using customer support equipment \(SE\) to isolate anomalies and verify repairs\. Assist the customer with threat system analysis, aircraft operations analysis, LO system performance, and reporting fleet LO health using diagnostic test equipment and analytical tools\. Perform analysis on LO data to identify component and system performance trends, identify component defects, and identify potential areas of concern\. Manage the storage, inspection, calibration, and perform general maintenance on LO test equipment\. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Performing RCS analysis using tools- Developing and integrating antenna and radomes designs- Defining Low Observables design requirements- Integrating Low Observable technologies and design requirements into current and future designs- Providing engineering oversight to RCS model fabrication- Developing requirements for RCS testing,- Providing test support and evaluating results of complete structure and component level testing\.- Providing engineering liaison oversight for production programs-Providing LO Supportability development and integration support to programsSpecifics applications could include:
- Total vehicle level modeling- Aperture/Sensor Integration- Inlet/exhaust RCS integrationBasic Qualifications:
BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or Physics plus 2 years applicable work experience is required, or 0 years with a Masters Degree\. Must possess strong team working skills and proficiency with MS Office\. All applicants must have and maintain a valid U\.S\. passport, accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 120 days away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements such as chemical warfare training and immunizations that may include anthrax and smallpox\. Applicants must meet medical requirements for worldwide travel\. Candidate must possess and be able to maintain a minimum current Secret security clearance\. Applicants should have a complete understanding of technical data\. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills are required\. Applicants must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours\-a\-day, 7 days\-a\-week, 365 days a year\.Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with programming applications such as MatLab, C and/or Java\. Experience in B\-2, F\-117, F\-35 or F\-22 or other platform LO design, materials, maintenance and operational employment\.
